This 75 watt Super UV Replacement Lamp/Quartz comes an an integral unit where the lamp is already installed within the quartz sleeve and the cable attached ready to plug into your ballast. These replacement Lamp/Quartz sleeves are very easy to replace, you simply just switch off the Ballastunit, unplug the old Lamp/Quartz and plug the replacement into the Ballast. Then your good to go.
Please Note:
The lamp life of these Super UV Amalagam replacement UV lamps is approximately 13000 hours so it is adviseable to have a spare to hand.
The ballast unit for these Air Aqua Super UV Amalagam Submersible UV's have an hour counter so that the user knows when the lamp needs to be replaced. There is also a built-in alarm that detects whether the lamp is still operating correctly.
