This 75 watt Super UV Replacement Lamp/Quartz comes as an integral unit where the lamp is already installed within the quartz sleeve and the cable attached ready to plug into your ballast. These replacement Lamp/Quartz sleeves are very easy to replace, you just simply switch off the ballast unit, unplug the oldLamp/Quartz and plug the replacement into the ballast. Then you are good to go.
Please Note:
The lamp life of these Super UV Amalagam replacement UV lamps is approximately 13000 hours so it is advisable to have a spare to hand.
The ballast unit for these Air Aqua Super UV Amalagam Submersible UV's have an hour counter so that the user knows when the lamp needs to be replaced. There is also a built-in alarm that detects whether the lamp is still operating correctly.
