These Double Union Ball Valves are ideal for isolating pumps, UV's, heaters etc by simply installing one each side of what you want to isolate. Always use a Ball Valve where water from the pond goes directly to waste, for instance on a purge system.

Another feature of these superb ball valves is that they are adjustable, meaning that the seal to the inner ball can be adjusted to make the turning of the handle stiffer or easier, so you just simply adjust the valve for the easiest turn of the handle whilst ensuring the valve is holding back all the water. If using to hold water back from a bottom drain or pond return always put the adjustment side of the Ball Valve on the filter side so you can make adjustments without having to drain your pond.
Please note that this range of double union ball valves can be used on Black Sovlent Weld pipe by reducing the size of the socket with the Reducing Sleeves (Pressure to Waste).
