Japanese Matting is extremely inert and easy to service, Japanese Matting is available in sheet form and can be cut to the desired sizes to fit your filter chamber. Although not easy to cut due to its very robust nature, this is possible with a little patience, care and the correct tools.

• 1.2 metre x 1 metre x 35 mm

Japanese matting has a large surface for the colonisation of bacteria and due to it's thickness has excellent mechanical filtration properties. To clean the media simply wash through with pond water.
