Valterra Slide Valves

Valterra Slide Valves are regarded as the best Gate valves in the world with many tens of thousands sold. They are extremely robust and well made.

These Valttera Gate Valves, also know as 'knife valves' are designed to shut off water flow from pipework or to isolate the filter house from the pools water. These valves are also used before and after and device fitted to the ponds filter system such as UV's, pumps, heaters etc for maintenance. These Valttera Slide valves have been used in many applications when water isolation or drain valves are required such as, Koi ponds, Swimming pools, Industrial applications.

There are five valve sizes available as follows:

• 1-1/2 Inch Valttera Slide Valve
• 2 Inch Valterra Slide Valve
• 3 Inch Valttera Slide Valve
• 4 Inch Valterra Slide Valve
• 110 mm Valterra Slide Valve.

These Valterra Slide valves are designed to be used PVC Class E Pressure pipe but can be adapted for Black Solvent Weld pipe with the use of Reducing Sleeves found in this section. Please note that the 110 mm Slide Valve does not need the reducers to connect to 110 mm Black Solvent Weld pipe.
